Many people do not know about Apple cultivation in Kerala. Those who wish to see and pick luscious apples should proceed to Kanthalloor. Though the regular season is from July to August the climatic changes, allow apple to grow in all seasons. One can reach Kanthalloor travelling 40km from Munnar and Marayur. Travelers can reach Kanthalloor, a village that travels about 40 km from Munnar and 16 km from Marayur. Located at an altitude of 5000 ft above sea level, Kanthalloor is home to rare fruits and vegetables. We find not only apple but also plum, strawberry, black berry, orange, mussambi, gauva, egg fruit, fashion fruit, lichy, rice, raspberry and peach. Kanthalloor is known for Marayoor jaggery.

Kadamakudy is a beautiful island situated near Varapuzha in Edappally district of Ernakulam district. It is best suited for party surveys, cyclists, photography, and sunset views. Its surrounded by paddy fields, shrimp beds, streams, fishing nets, and fishing harbors. Its 12th away  from Edapally Metro station. An interesting insight about this place would be bird watching. The best time for the same is in the month of April and May .Under 75 species of birds are found here.6 Perfect for photography at any time. The best time to visit the island is from 7 to 10 in the morning. The bicycle ride at this time is very beautiful.

The Gods Own Country is covered with natural waterfall and one of the not so explored named, Anayadikuthu Falls is a 22 km trek from Thodupuzha in the district of Idukki. It is a place to be loved by the devotees and tourists. Anayadikuthu is located near Thommanankum. This is the place where the river flows to the rocks. This is the only place where the waterfall flows from the bottom.
The Gods Own Country is a natural waterfall that is not known to most people Anayadikuthu Falls is a 22 km trek from Thodupuzha in the district of Idukki. It is a place loved by the devotees and tourists.It is also a place where you can bath and even go for a swim.Even if you take photos from any angle, the Anayadikuthu Falls will be covered, half of the water dipped. A stone like an elephant is interesting here. Anayadikuthu is located near Thommanankum, but it is not a part of Thommankukku. The water that flows from the top of the pigeon is flanked by an elephant. This is the place where the river flows to the rocks. This is the only place where the waterfall flows from the bottom.

There is a huge rock on the peak around which much time is to be spent catching panoramic views.The Ranipuram forest should be declared as a wild life sanctuary by Kerala Forest Department to merge with borders of Thalakavery wild life sanctuary in Karnataka. The proposed Ranipuram Wildlife Sanctuary may protect and maintain overall biodiversity of the area in a better way.

Kurushumala hills is a Christian pilgrimage center in Vagamon. Apart fro that, this is also an excellent trekking site in Vagamon. The hike starts at Kallillakavala (Kurisumala base). As you trek up, there are 14 crosses (known as 'Way of the cross') at regular intervals on the hill. There is a small church on top.

Thangal Hill, known as thangal paara (paara means rock) in the local language is a must visit place in Wagamon. It is part of a Muslim pilgrimage, it has the resting place (Dargah) of Sufi Saint Hasrath Sheikh Fariduddin Baba. There is no restrictions to people from other relegion, but the caretakers were welcoming us even though it was little late in the evening.
